The Mission of Deon Lendore Foundation is to empower young student-athletes to succeed through sports and education, and to guide their families with accurate information to prepare their children for optimal academic and athletic growth.

Andrew Bruce was born and raised in Arima, Trinidad. He attended Holy Cross College and competed for Abilene Wildcats Track Club. Andrew represented Trinidad & Tobago at the 1980 Olympic Games. He attended the University of Michigan and was inducted into the University of Michigan Athletic Hall of Fame in 2008. Andrew is a former television reporter, producer, and anchor for TV6 Trinidad.

Michael Hinkson was born and raised in Arima, Trinidad. Michael was a member of Abilene Wildcats Track Club and participated as an athlete, coach, and president. He is also the President and Founder Hinkson Construction, a general contractor company. He currently resides in Long Beach, California.

Franklin Cumberbatch AWAC Alumnus 1979, Vice President with Bader Philanthropies – a global private foundation, based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Co-founder of The Opportunity Center – a sports and wellness facility for low-income families, seniors, and people with disabilities.

Neville’s experience in the financial services industry spans over 25 years and currently has oversight for GAAP and Statutory financial reserving at one of the top financial services firm in the US. As a trained Actuary, Neville has helped several companies navigate very challenging times of crisis by reimagining their overarching mission and reengineering several of their products, services and systems. Neville attended high school in Trinidad and Tobago and Business School in London, England. He is a member of the American Academy of Actuaries and a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries of America.

Hilary F. Clarke is a retired Deputy Director from the Riverside County, Office on Aging Department where he managed Federal, State and County funds for Programs and Services that supported older adults live a life of dignity and independence. Presently, he is committed and devoted to his family and friends in sharing & exchanging life’s lessons in reaching a level of success and self-sufficiency. Hilary is an athlete at heart and has represented various sporting fields in football, golfing and table tennis.
