We prepare Trinidad and Tobago student-athletes for success in life through sports and education by providing accurate, current, and applicable information and support, necessary to make informed career and life decisions while respecting family values and structure.
About Deon Lendore
Deon Lendore was a friend, countryman, and teammate. He was a Trinidadian Olympian, National Bowerman Award winner, and NCAA Champion, with his beloved Texas A&M University. Most importantly, Deon was a gentleman who extended a helping hand to fellow athletes, whenever he could. Deon passed away on January 10, 2022, from injuries sustained in a tragic traffic accident.
About the Deon Lendore Foundation
One year ago, seven of my colleagues and I decided to establish The Deon Lendore Foundation. The Deon Lendore Foundation is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit corporation headquartered in Wisconsin and registered in Trinidad & Tobago. We promised to keep Deon’s name and legacy alive by supporting the student-athletes of Trinidad and Tobago.
Contribute to Our Pre-Launch Fundraiser
After a year of groundwork, we plan to publicly launch The Deon Lendore Foundation in December 2023, in Port-of-Spain. To achieve that milestone, we are introducing our first fundraising drive. We need to raise $15,000 USD by October 15, 2023 to address the initial financial goals of the organization. We welcome your support!
If you donate $1,000.00 USD or more by September 30, 2023, we will afford you the designation of a Founding Supporter.
